Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act
Resource Center

This resource center includes reference materials relating to the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act ("ANCSA"). It is sponsored by Landye Bennett Blumstein LLP. More documents, usually marked with hypertext links, will be added in the future. If you have a suggestion or comment regarding materials that should be made available, or how the materials are presented, organized, or formatted, or reports of bugs, failed or incorrect links or unavailability, please let us know. We want that this site be as useful as possible for persons interested in ANCSA.

Some documents are in Adobe Acrobat portable document format (pdf). They are marked with a pdf logo, like this: Your web browser needs a pdf reader plugin to read the documents. The pdf reader can be downloaded free from Adobe.Get Adobe Acrobat reader

Tips for use

The documents use hypertext links to show definitions and cross references as much as possible. If you find the links cause "color clutter," change the options in your browser to show links in the same color as the base text or in another, less distracting, color. If the type is too small to read comfortably, change the options in your browser to select a larger font size. If you find the background distracting, change the options on your browser to pick a plain background. You may have to specify that your preferred colors and backgrounds override the colors and background that will otherwise be used.
